An intimate and poetic quest through Provence's endangered landscape over two summers. As protagonists, her nieces, mother and partner. By photographing them, she is trying to find the answer to her harrowing question: can she bring a child in a world that is in the face of environmental collapse?\u003cbr\u003eWill motherhood be the new phase of her life? In this work she sits in this liminal space, trying to find answers. This photograph was taken in her brother’s garden, under the\u003cbr\u003eolive tree that he planted when his first daughter was born. Now the tree is big enough to provide shadow for the youngest to have her milk bottle. But the child's absence tells of\u003cbr\u003eher struggle to grasp what the future could look like for this generation. How do we break this cycle of destruction we are in to create caring and nurturing one?
