She studied Sculpture at the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti and completed a BA (Hons) at Wimbledon School of Art, UAL. She worked for over fourteen years as a portrait artist at Madame Tussauds and later taught sculpture at UAL. Her practice expanded through major U.S. monument commissions, including the Harriet Tubman statue and the Clara Luper Project.
