By choosing to hand paint arrays of Casio watches is to render the digital through very analogue means. For me, the slow labour-intensive act of painting sits at the opposite end of the spectrum from the digital: which is linked with speed and efficiency. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e The title itself further adds to the analogue: I was attempting to cycle from Belgium to Greece. Time was against me and my perspectives were deeply distorted by sleep deprivation and awful weather.
