I deconstruct these materials, hand-sewing collaged fragments into new surfaces. The fabric is then stretched and gessoed. They are then painted in oil, using my skin as a reference for the colour palette. The wear-and-tear from bodies remains, through imperfections like worn holes, rips, and stains that create texture.
