About the Artwork

'Shingle Street No.56' is part of a wider series of works from the project Where Land Runs Out, which consists of a series of unique, partially fixed, camera-less cyanotypes on paper. The project reflects the changing and fragile landscape of Shingle Street beach in Suffolk, on the East coast of England which is subject to coastal erosion, sea level rises and is at risk of disappearing.
