Hypha Curates: Cancellations & Returns Policy
This document outlines the procedures and responsibilities for shipping, cancellations, and returns when purchasing artwork through the Hypha Curates website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us at sales@hyphacurates.com
Cancellations
Client-initiated cancellations

If a client cancels an order, Hypha Curates will make reasonable efforts to inform the Artist before the artwork is shipped.
In-transit cancellations

If an artwork is already in transit when cancelled, Hypha Curates & the Artist will work together to try & reroute it back to the Artist.

If rerouting isn't possible, Hypha Curates will arrange for the artwork to be collected from the client upon delivery.

In such cases, the client is responsible for all return shipping costs & the original shipping fee will not be refunded.
Returns & refunds
Buyer's right to cancel
As a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day after you receive the artwork.
Exercising your right to cancel

To cancel, you must inform Hypha Curates in writing within this 14-day period by emailing sales@hyphacurates.com or using the cancellation form on our platform. Clearly state your decision and provide your order details.
Returning the Artwork

If you cancel, you must return the artwork to the Artist (or Hypha Curates, as instructed) without undue delay & no later than 14 days from the day you communicated your cancellation. The cost & risk of returning the artwork will be your responsibility.
Condition of returned Artwork

The artwork must be returned in its original condition, unused & in its original packaging (where applicable). If the artwork is returned damaged or in a condition that diminishes its value, Hypha Curates reserves the right to deduct an amount from your refund proportionate to the diminished value.
Payment plan returns (for Buyers)

If you are on a 12-month payment plan & return an artwork during the plan's duration, you will only be charged up to the date of cancellation.
Refund Issuance

Refunds will be processed by Hypha Curates within 14 days after the returned artwork has been safely received by the Artist & inspected.

The refund will include the full price paid for the artwork, but not the original standard delivery costs

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Damaged or Defective Artworks

For Buyers: If an artwork arrives damaged or is found to be defective, you must notify Hypha Curates within 24 hours of delivery by emailing sales@hyphacurates.com & providing photographic evidence. We will arrange for the return of the damaged/defective artwork at our cost & offer a replacement (if available) or a full refund.
