About the Artwork

A beguiling cat portrait employing expressive brushwork to enhance the emotion projected onto the subject. With exact rendering of fur and quilt details, whilst this portrait is whimsical, it further has a visceral ambience. There is a certain uncanniness, implying more than meets the eye.
