About the Artwork

This series of pacifiers serves as a visual representation that highlights the paradox of intertwining infantile reliance with exaggerated self-promotion in adults. It emphasizes the delineating boundary between a luxury item and an infant's essential dependence on nurturing. Pacifiers are designed to suppress crying and create the illusion of perpetual care. Through this series, the contemporary pursuit of pleasure in popular culture undergoes an ironic transformation, shedding light on its transient escapism and the stifling dependence hindering genuine self-expression. An extravagant accessory reflecting the struggle between maintaining authenticity and succumbing to overpowering reliance.
Series of 20. Price is per piece.
