‘Block B’ is a robot building in an ever expanding sculptural cityscape named ‘Down Town.’ This series of works have been inspired both by my time living and working in the far east and my reflections upon moving back to the UK.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sam Hebden (b. 1977) holds a BA in illustration and an MA in sculpture from Glasgow School of Art, both with First Class Honors. He has been a practicing artist for a year and a half. He has had work exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh and at a group show in Glasgow.
