About the Artwork

Mine Mask, Thy Frame' is a sculptural work exploring transformation, vulnerability, and emotional defense. A delicate, diaphanous mask is double UV-printed onto glass, evoking the fragile evolution of a white rose. Its thorns and further-developed patterns are CNC-engraved into a wooden frame, uniting protection and exposure. The glass acts as both shield and screen—inviting yet distancing—while the mask symbolizes the emotional veneers we wear. Blending digital fabrication with tactile materiality, the piece invites reflection on what we choose to hide or reveal, and how concealment shapes identity.
