This mixed media sculptural painting uses hand-dyed synthetic feathers to create a richly textured, vibrant surface. Dominated by intense reds, magentas, purples, and blacks, the composition evokes a sense of fiery energy and cosmic movement. ABOUT THE ARTIST

Miranda Pissarides (b. 1988) is an independent artist living and working in London. She was trained at Byam Shaw, St Martin's, and the Slade School of Fine Art. She has exhibited extensively in London, New York, Brazil, Italy, Cyprus, and Japan, including solo shows in Rome, Japan, and London. In 2018, she was awarded the Saatchi Gallery Young Artist Award in Fine Art, and her sculptures were selected for exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. She has since had solo shows in New York and London.
