About the Artwork

'Wave' invites spatial interaction and layered interpretation, encouraging reflection on patterns that shape our digital and organic environments. A curved metal frame with a punctuated perimeter acts as a loom-like structure, holding a constructed
textile. The textile comprises hand-knotted rectangular fragments, echoing the shape of small screens. Each piece is laser-cut from coloured and mirrored acrylic, creating a dynamic interplay of reflection, rhythm, and materiality that bridges the tactile and technological.
