About the Artwork

On the edge of collapse and precarity they grow out of the foundations of the building. Evolved from Romanesque columns into mythological gargantuan worm-like creatures, consuming materials, re-surfacing from the remnants of the building as part of their exterior shell. A symbol of rebirth and renewal, made of re-claimed discarded materials, inhabiting a post-human future where nature transforms materials of the Anthropocene into architectural structures. What will the monuments of the future be made of? If requested for exhibition, there is an installation fee of £2,500, inclusive of delivery, collection and artist fee in London. Open to offers.
