ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hazel Florez (b. 1984) is a London-based artist and researcher with an MFA from Edinburgh. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is published with Taschen in The Library of Esoterica. She is also due to be published in a forthcoming book with Taschen called Mystical Beasts. Florez writes on mystical art and art history for The World of Interiors magazine and was shortlisted for the London College of Psychic Studies annual art competition in 2022 and 2024. She is a Bridgeman Images Studio artist.
