Maya King-Dabbs

Maya King-Dabbs (she/her) is a London based sculptor, working with readymade and multimedia fabrication process.

Drawing on subjects and materials from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, King-Dabbs isolates objects, images, and moments that feel distinctly emblematic of their time. Her practice examines how contemporary culture constructs narratives of aspiration, desire, and belonging through her own recontextualising and material transformation. She graduated from Goldsmiths University BA Fine art and Art History in 2025 and is currently undertaking the Alumni Junior Fellowship.

Recent presentations include exhibitions at Bolding Gallery, London Art Services and a solo presentation at Window 135, New Cross. She is a returning contributor for the Toe Rag and works across several collaborative partnerships with writers and performers. King-Dabbs is available for hire as a fabricator.
