About the Artwork

'Circuit' is a material assemblage that brings together birch seeds, copper wire, rubber and nails within a steel framework. The work explores tensions between organic growth and industrial residue, presenting a surface that appears simultaneously emerging and deteriorating. Through processes of layering, rupture and accumulation, the piece reflects on cycles of transformation, connectivity and renewal embedded within both natural and constructed systems.
