About the Artwork
By observing the birds while they are asleep, you can notice a curious attitude. The bird's head hides under a wing and all the feathers swell in order to create a microclimate to defend itself from the cold of the night. The bird seems to be headless, as the head disappears into its own body withdrawing its conscience from the outside world. This conceptual installation investigates an existential behavior which applies to animals as humans.
