Pia Jaime

Pia Jaime (b. 1976, Argentina) studied Fine Arts in Tucumán after a nomadic childhood shaped by political upheaval, and has lived in London since 2008. Working across photography, ceramics, drawing, and installation, her practice draws on personal
experience to explore repair, memory, domesticity, and shifting states of self and perception. She often uses cameraless photographic methods to capture the present through light, time, and chance, while porcelain functions as a form of temporal arrest. An educator and community project leader, her work includes major public commissions and has been widely exhibited and published.
