About the Artwork

The mirrored cabinet holds the echo of my first memory: consciousness awakening in a bath of endless white light. Its three folding layers fracture and weave reflections like drifting thoughts, while etched portraits whisper of shifting identities and forgotten selves. Beads of glue mimic water droplets, suspending a single moment on glass, inviting the viewer to linger in a timeless hush. Beneath cracked white paint, glimpses of blue hint at the hidden current between the ordinary bathroom and that boundless light — the origin where form, memory, and self dissolve into being.
