About the Artwork

IRL. In the city, leaves scatter like confetti, beads shimmer in painted lines and drains catch the glow of passing lights. If you look closely among the rubble and dirt, the city gleans and celebrates joyfully. I love making my art scatter like confetti in the same joyful way I see materials behave in the city. This artwork utilises playful methods of making. Positioned low down, the sculpture asks us to reposition ourselves in order to engage with it fully. You are rewarded for looking carefully, shifting your position, discovering objects that reveal themselves when you move around it.
