About the Artwork

Vestige depicts two simultaneous frameworks of time and memory. There is a swirling, cyclical pool of time that is formed by patterns of behavior and reoccurring themes alongside a more linear fashion in which each singular moment makes way for the next. These episodes are connected by a desire to preserve and mark its passage.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Unu Sohn (b. 1994) is a sculptor living and working in London. She holds an MA in Ceramics & Glass from the Royal College of Art (2022). She uses ceramic and metal processes to materialize negative space. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at PAD Fair in London and Galerie Joseph in Paris. She is a recipient of the a-n bursary (2025) and Arts Council England DYCP funding (2024).
