About the Artwork

This body of work emerges from the deep wound left by the dismantling and eradication of the Sacred Goddess — a figure revered for over 200,000 years before her systematic erasure under the rise of patriarchal religions and male-dominated ideologies. This work is a visceral, emotional response of this deliberate elimination, metamorphosed into a sacred object of devotion, free from patriarchally derived perspectives and ideologies. Echoing the ongoing political and societal turmoil that male governance continues to impose on women, this work stands as an act of defiance, a rebellion born from the matriarchal ashes, rising as testament and resistance.
