About the Artwork
‘We At Least Have to Share the Same House Together’ is a personal work that explore domestic and private tensions in an intimate setting. The work is a rough and raw encapsulation of two feet twitching at the end of the bed, far enlarged in relation to the scale of the bed. The feet twitching in tension or in the act of soothing themselves are isolated and highlighted on the bed in anticipation and reflection on the immediate future. The work explores the interior world of others, exposing power dynamics and the tension between the public and private.
