About the Artwork

This work reflects the psychological fragility behind the desire for visibility in the digital age. A glowing figure walks alone through a dark, silent space—its form overexposed, as if trying to escape the frame itself. Using stark black-and-white contrasts and a restrained composition, the painting evokes dislocation and quiet urgency. It examines the inner conflict of those caught between public attention and private insecurity, echoing Erich Fromm’s ideas on freedom, identity, and the need to escape from a performative, judgmental world.
