About the Artwork

MC-77-Oriented presents a composite organism suspended between sensory alignment and ecological imagination. Formed from synthetic fur, 3D-printed elements, metal, and filaments, it occupies the threshold between body and instrument. Neither predator nor prey, it acts as a spatial prosthesis: a conduit for sensing tension, air currents, and signals beyond the human scale.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Minghao Wu (b. 2000) is a London-based artist. He holds an MA in Fine Art with Distinction from Chelsea College of Arts and a BA in Illustration from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He was a recipient of the Geoff Dudley Bursaries (2023-2024) and the China National Encouragement Scholarship (2019-2020). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Forbidden Fruit in Spain (2024) and a collaborative project with the Royal College of Art in London (2024).
