About the Artwork
‘The Path’ is inspired by a small village in the Peloponnese, where my mother is from. This remote area of Greece features a diverse natural environment, where mountains, sea, and forests exist side by side. I am interested in depicting these landscapes from an elevated viewpoint, highlighting the large-scale patterns and flows that shape the natural environment. The work reflects on how these elements interact to form a continuous and evolving landscape that extends beyond the human scale.
