About the Artwork

Verdant Cascades is a sculptural exploration on movement, resilience, and transformation. Cloaked in deep purple, its form draws from the turbulence of crashing waves and the cascading flow of Southeast Asian waterfalls. Shaped during a period of relocation, the work reflects the artist's negotiation of home, adaptation, and belonging. Its gestures suggest both force and fluidity, embodying the dualities of fragility and strength. By bridging natural with architectural presence, Verdant Cascades resonates within exhibitions exploring themes of home, space, adaptation, and the intersections of nature and architecture, offering a contemplative anchor in shifting landscapes.
