Lícia Santos

Lícia Santos (b. 1998) is an Angolan artist working between London and Lisbon. She completed her MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art (2022). Santos was awarded the Euan Uglow Memorial Scholarship (2020), selected for Sky Arts
Portrait Artist of the Year (2020), and shortlisted for the Morrison Foerster Art Prize (2023). Recent exhibitions include Casildart Contemporary, London (2025) and Irmã Feia, Lisbon (2025). In 2025 she completed a residency at the Museu Provincial do Namibe and is currently undertaking an online residency with Hands-On Projects, while preparing her first solo exhibition with ELA Gallery, Luanda.
