About the Artwork

This inflatable sculpture was created as part of a participatory workshop with individuals affected by eating disorders. Participants explored their experiences through collage, using cut-out images of mouths, food, eyes, and hands to express the emotional and physical tensions around body image and consumption. These collective collages were then transferred onto a biomorphic inflatable form, transforming inner struggles into a powerful, shared visual statement. The work invites reflection on the fragmented, often chaotic relationship many have with food, control, and self-perception in contemporary society.
