About the Artwork

Time based video of blood cells from a microscope. This work looks at the cells in our body. It highlights the use of neutrophils in fighting infection and disease. The artists blood being used for this piece as a way to understand the workings of the immune system, and how it looks when fighting infection. A semi-autobiographical work which used opacity to be void of connection brings the viewer even closer to the artist but at a distance. Looking at spaces within the body and bringing them to the public space.
