About the Artwork

This piece responds to the relativity of scale as well as the fractally repeating patterns in cosmological systems. The use of salvaged media references the eternal disintegration, reconfiguration and substitution of physical and energetic states in ecological as well as cosmological systems, where identities, information and formats are constantly evolving. The use of carbon neutral media with materials that sequester carbon dioxide in this piece results in a net carbon emissions footprint of -9.38 kg CO2e (carbon negative).
