About the Artwork

The work is part of an ongoing series shaped by loss and the slow process of letting go. The materials are gathered and lived with. I use plants collected last summer in Poland — yarrow and weld—combined with iron and raw silk. These elements carry histories of healing, transformation, and decay. Iron deepens the dyes but also introduces instability; the surface continues to shift over time, like memory. The series reflects on ephemerality and the quiet necessity of allowing things to unfold beyond our control.
