The first in a series of work where I had found the first photograph my father took of my mother. Many years prior my grandmother is found in a different image with the same pose and flowers. This is Repeated (1).

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elizabeth Walker (b. 2003, Mexico) is a visual artist specializing in painting and printmaking. She holds a BA from Arts University Bournemouth and a PGCE with QTS from the University of Buckingham. Her work has been exhibited nationally across the UK, including at the Ulster Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. She has undertaken residencies with the Bournemouth Underground Gallery and Boom Studios. Her practice has been featured in Art It.
