Sanna Namin
Sanna Namin (b. 1995) is a Swedish-Iranian artist, born in Stockholm and based in London. They work with sculpture, textiles and performance to explore identity and the tensions between personal histories and cultural narratives. They're drawn to materials like fabric, foam and metal, pushing them to their limits so the forms sit somewhere between object and body. They graduated from RCA in 2023, specialising in sculpturewear within the fashion pathway. In 2024, they received the Carl Cason Award. Their work has been featured in Dazed, and they recently curated and exhibited in 'Softening the Edges' at the Koppel Project.
