Weixi Kuang
Weixi Kuang (b. 2001) is a Chinese artist and material designer. He holds a BA in Art and Technology from the China Academy of Art and an MA in Material Futures from Central Saint Martins, London. His work has been nominated for the Maison/0 Green Trail 2026 and longlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2026. Selected exhibitions include Alcova during Milan Design Week 2026; Blueprint at Mint Gallery during London Design Festival 2026; TALENTE München – Meister der Zukunft 2026; Future Folklore: The Art and Craft of Storytelling with Visual Arts Scotland; the CHINA:HANGZHOU Art and Technology Biennale 2025; Text & Image: At the Edge of Language and Vision at Space776, New York; and New Century: Holistic Theories at Hanart TZ Gallery, Hong Kong. His material research has also been featured by Plural Magazine in Amsterdam.
