About the Artwork

Navel Scape was made in reference to reliquaries - containers intended to house, protect, and display sacred relics - and the site of Northala Fields: an artificial park overlooking the A40 in West London, built from the rubble of the original Wembley Stadium.

This is a collaborative sculpture made in collaboration with artist Maya King-Dabbs.

Artwork photography by Rene Lazovy.
