Alexis Zelda Stevens
Alexis Zelda Stevens (b. 1982, Isle of Wight) presents work in public spaces, blending dance, live-performance, sculpture, video and immersive installation. Awarded a first class BA Hons from Falmouth School of Art and a CertHE in Dance Performance from Birkbeck. Her work was 'Pick of the Week' in the Guardian and in British Archaeology Magazine. She won a SET Woolwich Studio Prize, and was shortlisted for the Spike Island Graduate Fellowship. Funded by Jerwood, a-n and Arts Council England. A taste maker for art in unusual places, she’s curated 20 commissions for Green Man and is Guest Curator for Videoclub.
