Beate Sonnenberg
Beate Sonnenberg (b. 1966, Cologne) is a German mixed media artist based in London. She studied at Bournemouth College of Art and has a lens-based practice exploring perception, light, and materiality. Her work has been exhibited at Photo London, Ferens Art Gallery (Hull), and Unit 1 Gallery Workshop. She held a solo exhibition, Simple Complexity, in London in 2022. Her video works were longlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize (2024), and her work has been included in Aesthetica Magazine.
