About the Artwork

This painting extends the world inhabited by the sculptures, offering a glimpse into the imagined landscape from which these seasonal beings emerge. Layers of atmospheric colour create a space that feels both familiar and otherworldly, where forests become places of quiet ritual and reflection.
Unnatural hues transform the landscape into something dreamlike, encouraging viewers to question where reality ends and imagination begins. Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting evokes an emotional landscape, one that explores memory, spirituality and the quiet, eerie presence that lingers within the natural world.
