Felipe Pineda

Felipe Pineda Rojas (Viña del Mar, 1995) is a Chilean visual artist based in London, whose practice primarily focuses on sculpture and installation.
He holds an MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Fine Art from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His work has been presented in solo and duo exhibitions across Chile, the UK, and Europe, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago, Koppel Project in London, and Gemeinde Köln in Cologne, among others.
His exhibitions include Delivery System: Second Movement at Gemeinde Köln, Cologne; These Presents, Goldsmiths MFA Degree Show; Dicho a mano at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago; Delivery System at Koppel Project, London; Radio Sola at Espacio 550; and Escuchar lo real lo inaudito at Espora Galería.
Pineda has undertaken residencies at HANGAR in Lisbon; UK New Artists 4 in Derby; Proyecto Error in Mexico City; Nube Lab in Santiago; and Balmaceda Arte Joven.
His practice has been recognised through a number of awards, scholarships, and grants, including the Junior Fellow in Initiated Research at Goldsmiths, the Almacantar Award from Bow Arts Trust, the Acquisition Prize from the Collection of the Ministry of Cultures of Chile – CNAC, the Eaton Fund, and the Fondart Mobility Grant from the Ministry of Cultures of Chile.
His work is held in collections in the UK and Chile, including the British Library and the collection of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile.
