About the Artwork

I am interested in the psychological, physiological and emotional impact of colour and mark on mood. In their creation, my paintings channel energy in motion. Celebrating the vibrancy of a felt life her work responds to poignant moments. Each new series begins intuitively in a moment of presence, triggered by an upswell of feeling. Mark-making
responds to feeling as dance to music. As the work evolves a conscious dialogue emerges. This painting is one of a series which through an interplay of colour, mark and form, captures potent emotional experiences, mindsets and psychological states.
