Jessica Brodigan

Jessica Brodigan (b. Manchester, UK, 2001) explores the entanglement of humanity, nature, and imagination through world-building. Her work is populated by enigmatic, feminine figures who inhabit fluid landscapes, where bodies dissolve into clouds, wind, and water. Drawing from personal mythologies and everyday observation, the paintings explore themes of connection, protection, and emotional vulnerability. Through intuitive mark-making and layered surfaces that often reveal traces of earlier compositions, the work captures fleeting psychological moments while inviting viewers into a parallel world that feels both familiar and quietly uncanny.
