Marcelle Rosfelder - Leu
Marcelle Rosfelder-Leu is a Swiss–Japanese artist of Korean heritage, based between London and Zurich. She holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art (2025) and an MA in Archaeology from SOAS, University of London. Situated between cultural contexts, her practice reflects a sensitivity to layered histories, trace, and material memory. Her paintings approach the canvas as a bodily and temporal field where fragments emerge and dissolve. Recent series, including Skin Acts, Drip and Flow, and Breathlines, explore liquid brushwork, staining, and calligraphic gesture, treating painting as a site of breath, movement, and emergence.
