Vanessa Nova Nassar

Vanessa Nova Nassar (b. 1983, Beirut) is a London-based artist. She trained as an architect, qualifying in 2006. She works with acrylics and mixed media.  Her work tells stories of people and places and investigates the relationships of people to spaces, architecture, nature and the city.  Her paintings revolve around a variety of themes including decay, urban decay, cities, history, memory, fragments, meaning and identity.
