About the Artwork
My sculptures are biomorphic, cement-based forms that exist between formation and collapse. Neither human nor animal, they emerge through a process of material negotiation rather than representation. Some vaguely resemble creatures, as if the material itself were searching for the shape of life without ever fully reaching it. I use cement as a carrier of memory. Its weight, fractures, and imperfections record traces of pressure, adaptation, and change. I am interested not in accurately depicting the body, but in exploring its instability. Through these forms, sculpture becomes a meeting point between memory, material, and the possibility of becoming.
