About the Artwork

Embodied Sense is a ceramic sculpture from The Eye of Industrial Love, an ongoing body of work exploring the relationship between organic movement and industrial pressure. Created in black stoneware and industrial glazes, the work investigates the moment when fluid motion becomes structurally arrested, leaving traces of compression, resistance and transformation within the form. Balancing vulnerability and strength, the sculpture reflects an ongoing interest in material resilience, interrupted movement and the capacity of form to adapt under pressure.
