The Shade of Shelter, Held Within

Emulsion on Treated Wood
80 x 68 x 18 cm

Regular price £4,500.00
About the Artwork

The work explores the quiet tension between protection and visibility. Its exterior presents a bold, monolithic form, while concealed within are a series of intimate architectural spaces that reveal themselves only through sustained looking.

Corridors, thresholds, and stairways emerge from the sculpture's interior, suggesting private routes of passage and moments of retreat hidden beneath an imposing facade.
