About the Artwork

Up at Dawn, Head Full of Dusk is an oil painting depicting a stretching, almost contorted nude figure caught in the threshold between night and morning. The figure is held in a moment of transformation. The work explores the body as a landscape in flux, where dawn becomes a metaphor for reintegration.
