Rainbow Vegetable Tower is a vibrant ceramic sculpture where architectural order meets unruly organic growth. Bulbous, plant- like forms emerge from a brightly coloured stacked tower, creating a lively ecosystem of textures, openings, and glossy surfaces.

Balancing humour with careful construction, the work explores growth, adaptation, and the relationships that allow living systems to flourish. Both playful and monumental, Rainbow Vegetable Tower is a joyful sculptural centrepiece that rewards close looking, revealing new forms and unexpected details from every angle.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lana Locke (b.1982) gained a practice-based PhD, The Feral, the Social and the Art Object (2018), and an MA in Fine Art (2012) from Chelsea College of Arts. Her solo exhibitions have included Camberwell Space, ADH Gallery (Brompton Chapel), LUNGLEY Gallery, Liddicoat & Goldhill, DOLPH Projects and Schwartz Gallery. Her work has been exhibited at the ICA, the Bluecoat, Spike Island, the Royal Academy, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, Taiwan, MOCA Taipei, Taiwan, Hilbertraum, Berlin, Kingston Museum, Matt’s Gallery, Hales Gallery, the Nunnery Gallery, Block 336, OOF Gallery, and White Conduit Projects.
