Cathy Wills

Cathy Wills is an art historian, curator, and advocate for artists for more than 40 years. She also supports established British and international museums and independent artists. Cathy has curated "A Moveable Feast" is the first of the Hypha Curates exhibition, curated from an open call of artworks to take place in Hypha Gallery HQ in Euston. 70% goes to the artists, 30% to supporting the charity to provide free studio and exhibition space.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Cathy Wills is an art historian, curator, and advocate for artists for more than 40 years. Cathy began her career in the visual arts in the 1970s where she was the founding Director of Lewis Johnson Gallery, one of the first London galleries to exhibit video, installation and feminist artists. Since then, Cathy has supported established British and international museums and independent artists. As a Trustee for the Contemporary Art Society (CAS) she funds the Cathy Wills Sculpture Fund and initiated the CAS Collections Fund which since 2015 has developed into the CAS Collections Fund at Frieze.
